VIP Party Fun at the 5th Annual 2018 SLO Jazz Festival

We learned from attending other music festivals and from our survey we discovered ideas how to improve our VIP ticket sections in 2018, and we took your suggestions to heart! :You won't want to miss the special action and extra benefits.

Including in the 2018 VIP Section will be the following special amenities:
  • Special seating Front of Stage, Stage Left (by lower TERRACE) - there will be 75 - 80 seats in this special section which will allow up-close and personal viewing of artists. These are first-come, first-served, for all VIP Ticket holders only.
  • Special LOUNGE SEATING in LOWER TERRACE - we have special lounge seating in the lower Terrace. There will also be several round tables with seating for those who wish to eat or drink while they relax and watch the music. These are first-come, first-served, for all VIP Ticket holders only. We may also be adding special lounge seating by Butlerz.
  • Special seating on the PORTICO above the beer and vending areas - for those who don't want their music too loud, or want to enjoy kicking back a bit further, we once again offer seating on the UPPER PORTICO adjacent to the Mission Church. This is through a special arrangement with the Mission de Tolosa, San Luis Obispo, and if first-come, first-served, for all VIP Ticket holders only.

  • Special seating on the upper Mission VIP PAVILION - this is a section made possible by the generous contribution of one of our partners, the Mission de Tolosa, San Luis Obispo. Father Russ "gets the vision" of jazz festival, and truly embraced the spirit of what we are working so hard to accomplish. As such, they are making this area available to the SLO Jazz Festival immediately above the steps - by the statue of Father Junipero Serra. This section will be the PREMIERE VIP SECTION this year, and will offer special food service for a brief period (EARLY IN THE DAY ONLY). In the past, this food has included food from El Matador, NOVO, BLISS CAFE, and/or Woodstock's Pizza. This section holds about 100-120 seats and will be first-come, first-served VIP Ticket Holders only.
  • Special VIP BARS - We'll have a SPECIAL VIP BAR in both the upper and lower pavilions to help you avoid the lines for wine, beer, and water in this section, and more! 
  • DRINK TICKETS - VIP holders will receive VIP wristbands and VIP DRINK TICKETS. Please drink responsibly and consider a designated driver or the UBER service available at SLO Jazz Festival.
  • TOP LEVEL SPONSORS, PLATINUM VIP MEMBERS, AND INNER CIRCLE VIP MEMBERS ONLY:
  1. SPECIAL INVITATION ONLY VIP GALA OPENING NIGHT RECEPTION IN SLOMA 4:30PM - 6:00PM ON MAY 18, 2018
  2. Quality Reserve Wine Bottle Service - this year, in the Upper VIP Pavilion, we'll be offering the quality reserve wine in a Bottle Service in the (most likely in the Upper VIP Pavilion ONLY).
  3. Backstage meet and greet - Note: VIP Meet & Greet requires you get your name on a pre-approved list. PRIOR APPROVAL ONLY - get on the BACKSTAGE ARTIST MEET & GREET LIST to CONFIRM by May 15, 2018). For all who have their name on the list, we can coordinate a VIP Meet & Greet with an ARTIST. This requires artist approval and for Platinum VIP you MUST CHOOSE which artist you would prefer to do the MEET & Greet with in advance. For Inner Circle VIP members, we are allowing multiple artist meet & greet this year. For Top Level Sponsors, we may allow VIP Meet & Greet for multiple artists, with prior approval only.
  4. Top level sponsors may request a RESERVED TABLE in VIP for their VIP tickets. Please coordinate with Monica Delsi or Scott Andrews for details.
We continue our fine relationship with Central Coast Party Helpers to provide professional service for your beverage needs at the 5th Annual 2018 SLO Jazz Festival. We will be offering food earlier in the day from featured catering companies (note: any special food we provide in VIP will be cut off by about 3:30PM - 4:00PM, so you are encouraged to please visit food booths after this time to help support those vendors who are making the effort to provide the highest quality food at the jazz festival possible).

Please Note: Ins and Outs (re-entry) will be allowed only through 6PM this year and security will follow this strictly to help support our awesome food choices in 2018. What that means is although you may ENTER at any time, we do not allow re-entry after 6PM if you should choose to leave the Festival grounds after that time. If you need an exception, please contact our office prior to the festival. We set this policy to honor those food vendors who pay to provide and sell you food. For those who don't either become a food vendor or sponsor, we're not dropping a festival on their back patio for free. We hope you understand this policy.
