Two BOX OFFICE ENTRANCES: first by San Luis Obispo Museum of Art on Broad Street and WILL CALL by Monterey and Choro. Two TROLLEY STOPS: (1) By Higuera just after Broad and (2) Monterey at Morro (closest) with expanded hours and trolley cars from 10:30AM to 10:30PM. Note: Mission de Tolosa San Luis Obispo has ample parking structure spaces nearby. Note that parking meters around town have a TWO HOUR limit - make sure you don't run out of time! Meters stop at 6PM. Here is the City's guide to parking facilities for the Mission in San Luis Obispo, CA: SLO City Parking guide. For ARTISTS ONLY: we are adding a special 3 parking space ARTIST LOAD-IN/LOAD-OUT parking on CHORO to avoid the problems with congestion behind the stage. You will be able to load in and load out using these spaces, but must coordinate use as these will be in demand between acts. We have special longer-term parking for you after loading-in at the Mission Prep parking garage. Please coordinate with Festival Production (David Claytor) to set-up your time to access these special TIME-LIMITED PARKING SPACES. Thank you. For lodging recommendations visit 2018 JAZZ FESTIVAL LODGING. TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW ONLINE. |
PLEASE NOTE: WE HOPE TO ADD A NEW STAGE IN 2018!
STAGES ARE LOCATED AS FOLLOWS: 1. MISSION STEPS STAGE (MAIN STAGE - naming rights avail to top sponsor!) BY THE MISSION CHURCH STEPS 2. NOLA BROAD STREET STAGE (NEW ORLEANS STAGE) 3. MUSEUM OF ART (COLLEGE & SUMMER JAZZ WS BAND) 4. CHILDREN'S MUSEUM (HIGH SCHOOL BANDS) 5. NEW! "JAZZ LIVES" STAGE (VARIETY OF REGIONAL AND LOCAL TOP TALENT) - Downstairs at NOVO! ADA Parking is again in LOT 9 with STAFF/ADA. Please advise us if you have ADA requirements so that we may make special arrangements for you with seating and/or entrance to the Festival - we care about going the extra mile for you! We also have a "hearing impairment" special seating area for those who love jazz but just can't handle certain volumes (our Festival Director has this challenge). Contact us for where that seating is located and we'll escort you personally - we care about you! The BOX OFFICES are located at 680 Monterey and by Monterey and Choro, just inside Festival Grounds. We also recommend bicycle valet at the main SLOMA ticket entrance by the ticket entrance near Monterey and Broad (nearest to SLO Museum of Art). RE-ENTRY (Ins & Outs OK until 6PM). We know this has been a point of contention for some fans, a couple who had other events in the evening, but wanted to return. We WILL ALLOW RE-ENTRY on an EXCEPTION BASIS for such situations (like a Rotary dinner). We're not trying to be jerks about this - note that some festivals do not allow re-entry AT ALL (including New Orleans Jazz Festival). Because we did not receive sponsorship from the surrounding restaurans, the following re-entry policy applies: Note: NO INS and OUTS AFTER 6PM! Please note that most jazz festivals do not allow INS and OUTS at all. We do because there is no way you can go to the Children's Museum unless we allow INS and OUTS. Our policy of NO INS and OUTS (which means "no re-entry") AFTER 6PM will be strictly enforced this year. If you have a strong reason for exception, please contact the SLO Jazz Festival Office PRIOR to the Festival, to coordinate with our team (we're not trying to be jerks about this, seriously). The reason for our no re-entry at 6PM policy is we want our patrons to support our FOOD & BEVERAGE VENDORS. We make high effort to ensure good food choices, and 2017 will be the best food yet. Please support our food vendors so they have a good day, make money, and want to come back in 2018! Your support matters! Thank you! We therefore invite you to encourage these establishments to sponsor 2018 SLO Jazz Festival. |
